The Winchester Portrait Exhibition features over 100 portraits of people who have made an impression on local life through their work and activities, who either live in or come from Hampshire. From wide and varied walks of life including celebrities, public figures and many "unsung heroes", all have given many years of service to some tremendous organisations throughout Winchester and Hampshire.

The portraits have been taken by photographer Michael Butters and are supported with artwork and sculpture by local artists.

A commemorative book of the exhibition will be available and includes the portraits and articles about the portrait subjects and their stories. You can purchase the book at many locations around Winchester - View locations

In addition, we are running a silent auction online for the month of April and throughout the exhibition week. Bidding on the auction items is available now via the auction icon, and will close at 8.00 p.m. on 2nd May 2017.

We hope you will join us

Winchester Cathedral

The Cathedral is entirely self-funded, and receives no statutory support from the state or the church to support its buildings or activities. Maintaining and conserving the buildings, facilities and precious artefacts requires significant investment. This magnificent building hosts daily services and great festivals, musical and cultural events, and educational activities open to all.

Friends of PICU (Paediatric Intensive Care Unit) Southampton University Hospital

PICU provides vital care to critically ill children. The Friends of PICU exists to raise money to support the unit, the children and their families by providing equipment and services that are not always provided by the statutory authorities. In addition, a new ambulance is needed to provide a key part of the PICU service across the South of England.

The Murray Parish Trust, #2 Million Steps Campaign
